Why isn't it working?

Last night I had the chance to read over 100 posts specifically talking about how their cardio workout programs were no longer working and how people were growing frustrated with the results or lack there of that they were getting.

The cardio they were performing was often 60-90 minutes long but they were still not losing weight. They realized that they were hitting a plateau, a wall as you may say and were just upset that they were working out longer but still there was no more fat loss.

What went wrong here?
Well simply the body got use to performing the low intensity cardio and no longer requires the same amount of energy to perform the task of 60-90 minutes of cardio. Therefore these people were burning less calories then they were previously and thus their results have become stagnant or better yet the results worsen.

In order to effectively losing fat the key thing is intensity. The higher the intensity the more calories you burn per minute as far as time goes and the higher the amount of calories you burn after your workout session is over.

When performing low intensity cardio, there is no more calorie burning after the session is through which cost you the extra calories you need to get over the hump with your fat loss program.

Incorporate some high intensity interval training in your program and you will see your results sky rocket instead of taking a deep nose dive.

I'll share more on this tomorrow...
